Always Vue 3 for new projects. Vue 2 went end-of-life in late 2023. We migrate Vue 2 / Options API apps to Vue 3 / Composition API as a standard service.

Pinia. Vuex is in maintenance mode. Pinia is simpler, TypeScript-first, and the official recommendation.

Nuxt 3 for content sites, marketing pages, and apps that need SSR / SEO. Plain Vue + Vite for SPAs that live behind auth.

Vue is gentler — less ceremony, simpler reactivity model, better defaults. React has the bigger ecosystem and is more common in big tech. We use Vue where the team prefers it; React when ecosystem matters more.
